I went to an early-voting place with King V yesterday afternoon and cast my vote. The five (!) lines I stood in were a bit annoying - okay, only two were long and the other three moved quickly - but mostly only because I am thoroughly out of shape and just wanted to sit down. Having a yammering Republican behind us in line was a little irritating too, as were the throngs of politicians working the crowd to shake hands, kiss babies, and snag last-minute votes. Minor annoyances aside, the whole process took less than 90 minutes and I have a shiny new 'I VOTED' sticker. Um. Somewhere.
